Victorian Philip Ashberry and Sons Shefield Silver Plated teapot, England, 1900s.
Marked: PA&SS, and numbered 1403 figural trademark (leg feet with banner)
Made by Philip Ashberry & Sons, Sheffield (ca 1856-1935)
Philip Ashberry began making British metal wares in 1829.
The firm became "&sons" in 1856 and "Ltd" in 1900.
The teapot has not been polished to preserve its authentic age.
Dimensions: high 15 cm, wide 27 cm, deep 11 cm.
